Dr. Mathuraa Sasitharan, Optometrist
Dr. Mathuraa Sasitharan is committed to providing patient centered eye examinations and strongly believes in spending time to address patient concerns. Dr. Sasitharan has been passionate about optometry from a young age, when she too needed to wear glasses. She went to the University of Toronto Scarborough and graduated with distinction in 2012. After completion, she then moved to Chicago where she attended Illinois College of Optometry. In her four year program she has been trained and exposed to a diverse population and gained the skills to provide exceptional eye care. Her final year of rotations include: Tallahassee VA Outpatient Clinic, Pantons Eye Center (Ophthalmologist office), and the Rosenbloom Center for advanced care. She was a member of the Tomb and Key Honor Fraternity and Beta Sigma Kappa which promotes academic excellence in the optometric field and graduated Cum Laude.
